Winter is the perfect time to cozy up with a delicious and warming vodka cocktail. Here are some delicious winter vodka cocktails to enjoy during the colder months. Have a great one to add? Put it in the comments!

The most important part of a great cocktail, is starting with a good base. When the spirit is high quality, it improves the drink. We love Red Rocks Vodka. It's the most versatile vodka. It's smooth enough to drink on the rocks, but neutral enough to put in any cocktail making it ideal for making a variety of cocktails. Let's go!

Hot Cranberry Vodka

Combine cranberry juice, vodka, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, and a spoonful of honey in a small saucepan. Heat gently until warm but not boiling. Pour into a mug and garnish with a cinnamon stick or a slice of lemon. Yum!

White Russian

A classic winter cocktail, the White Russian combines vodka, coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa), and cream or milk. Stir the ingredients together in an cool glass filled with ice. For a festive touch, sprinkle a little nutmeg or cocoa powder on top.

Peppermint Martini

Shake vodka, white chocolate liqueur, and a splash of peppermint schnapps in a shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass rimmed with crushed candy canes for a minty and indulgent winter treat. You deserve it.

Vanilla Chai Martini

Brew a strong cup of chai tea and let it cool. In a shaker, combine vodka, vanilla syrup, and the chilled chai tea with ice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a cinnamon stick. If you want less time between you and drinking, use a chai tea concentrate and skip the vanilla syrup.

Vodka Hot Chocolate

Heat up a cup of hot chocolate and add a shot of vodka. Stir well and top with whipped cream. For extra indulgence, garnish with chocolate shavings or a drizzle of caramel sauce. For a great hot chocolate recipe and/or a whiskey version, check out the Red Rocks Spiked Cocoa recipe here.

Moscow Mule with a Twist

Add vodka, ginger beer, and a squeeze of lime juice to a copper mug filled with ice. For a winter twist, muddle in a few fresh cranberries or add a splash of cranberry juice. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary or a lime wedge.

Winter Berry Punch

In a punch bowl, combine vodka, cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, and a splash of orange liqueur. Add fresh berries, sliced citrus fruits, and ice. Stir gently and serve in individual glasses. Garnish with a sprig of mint or a few cranberries.

Apple Cider Moscow Mule

Mix vodka, apple cider, ginger beer, and a squeeze of fresh lime juice in a copper mug filled with ice. Stir gently and garnish with apple slices and a sprinkle of cinnamon for a festive and flavorful winter cocktail.

Red Rocks Chai Mule

I know. Another mule. But mule is pretty much just ginger beer, which feels wintery to me. Find the recipe here.

Coffee-tini

When it gets dark so early, it's tough to stay up late. Pre-game with this super simple take on a espresso martini. Recipe here.

Remember to adjust the ingredient ratios to your taste preference and enjoy responsibly. These winter vodka cocktails are sure to keep you warm and bring a touch of seasonal cheer to your gatherings. Cheers!
